Well it looks like there is going to be another final between David Ferrer (1) and Stan Wawrinka (2). Remember they met in this years final in Buenos Aires and the Spaniard had won. I don’t think there should be any major difficulty against the Swiss. Ferru was able to get thru his semi-final against Seppi quite easily 6-1, 6-4.
David is coming off some difficult losses (finals in Mexico and Miami). I know he wants this title badly and if successful he’ll be able to get his 3rd for 2013.

Meanwhile in Madrid Feli is at ‘home’ and getting ready. I know he’s coming off injuries so best of luck to him. I know this tournament is extra special to him. Here’s a pic that Milos had tweeted of themselves practicing.

He played really well against Seppi. Looked like classic Ferru on clay. Today will be the real test, we’ll see if he really is back to his true level… I expect it will be an entertaining match, probably in 3 sets.
