Shame on me for not posting on GGL all along. He’s always been such an up & down (
mainly down) player! But tomorrow he’s in the final of Bucharest and he’ll face the person who turned Rafa’s ATP schedule in 2012 completely upside down. Yup, no other than Lukas Rasol. The two men have never met. So far this year the Czech has had a better season. I know Rafa is going to pray that GGL will beat Rasol for his own avenge! 😛
As for Rafa he will look to pick up his 8th trophy in Barcelona come Sunday. He will face Nicolas Almagro who he leads an impressive 9-0 H2H. They have never met in a final so this will be added pressure for the fourth seed. Both the guys haven’t dropped a set getting to the final and they have playing very well as of yet.
There’s a chance that Marcel/Marc and Fer/David will meet in the doubles final. Their semifinals got cancelled due to weather.
Good luck to all of them!
